Instruction
The camp has three periods and each period lasts for two days. You can
participate in all three periods or just one or two of them.
The periods are
-
1. Tuesday - Wednesday 27th - 28th December 2005,
-
2. Thursday - Friday 29th - 30th December 2005 and
-
3. Saturday - Sunday 31st December 2005 - 1st January 2006
On period one there are three different boogie woogie and lindy hop group levels from beginners-intermediate to
advanced, and also beginners group in lindy hop.
On the second and third period there are six group levels for
boogie woogie plus the beginners groups in boogie woogie on the third period. The groups will be formed at the
beginning of
the camp (period).
The beginners group lasts for two days (lindy hop on the first period and boogie woogie on the third period).
Groups start from the basics.
Altogether there will be 4-5 hours of boogie woogie (lindy hop) instruction each day.
The instruction consists of classes (2 hours/day) with your own group as well as
optional classes (2 hours/day), which are directed at certain level groups and can be chosen freely.
Optional classes dig in deeper to technical aspects of dancing. In addition, there will be a
number of tasters in other dances.
All group levels will be based on partner rotation.

New this year - for all the rock'n'swing dance teachers
"Teachers only" -lessons are additional to normal lessons (one lesson per each two day period,
no extra charge). International instructors give these lessons from the coaching point of view.
Only rock'n'swing dance teachers are accepted to these lessons (please see the registration form).
All the camp participants are allowed to follow the lessons from the spectator stand.
Instructors
Once again we will enjoy teaching of the highest quality. So far we have booked
Marcus Koch and Bärbl Kaufer from Germany,
Henric Stillman and Joanna Eriksson from Sweden and
Vladimir Ishimov and Ksenia Semenikhina from Russia.
Also the top names from Finland will be instructing on the dance camp,
e.g. Tommi and Pirjo Koivula, Timo Arstila and Päivi Järvinen,
Ari Halinen and Kati Vestman.
Instructions will be given in English and in Finnish.
