Tänä vuonna olemme suuren suosion ja kysynnän johdosta laajentaneet lajivalikoimaa pitäen painopisteen edelleen boogie woogiessa.

Voit osallistua kokonaisvaltaiselle kuuden päivän leirille
valiten itsellesi mieluisimmat lajit!

Suosittu balboan vihreä linja saa jatkoa, ja järjestämme BoogieNightin yhteydessä järjestyksessä Suomen toisen useamman ulkomaisen valmentajan balboaleirin.

Upeat kotimaiset valmentajat vetävät leirin viikonloppuosalla (jakso 2) kaksipäiväisen boogie woogien alkeiskurssin!

To-pe 27. - 28.12.2007 (jakso 1)
Turkka käsittelee BoogieNightin valmennuksessa ekstaattisuutta sekä sitä, mitä lahjakkaat tekevät näennäisen luonnostaan oheisen tarkemman tuntikuvauksen mukaisesti. Tunnit ovat valinnaisia ja soveltuvat kaikille tanssijoille, jotka ovat kiinnostuneita aiheesta.

Missä lahjakas ja lahjaton eroavat

Lahjakas voi olla yrittämättä ja onnistumisella ei ole kattoa. Lahjaton näyttää kuinka hän yrittää, ja mihin koulukuntaan hän kuuluu, kuinka oikein ja kaikki vaatimukset täyttäen hän tekee ja kuinka hän vaikuttaa nyt teihin, katsojat. -- Kuinka kaikille ekstaattisuutta!

Turkka opettaa 27.12. sekä 28.12. kumpanakin päivänä kaksi tuntia. Voit ottaa joko toisen tai molemmat näistä kahden tunnin kokonaisuuksista. Tunneilla on eri sisältö keskenään.

BonBon-tunnit

Bonbon-tunneilla vaihdetaan yleensä paria samalla periaatteella kuin muillakin tunneilla. Suosittelemmme osallistumista ryhmään pareina, oman tai muun esim. leirillä sovitun parin kanssa. Tunnista ja valmentajasta riippuen paria ei kaikissa ryhmissä välttämättä vaihdeta (esim. akrot, kilpailuun liittyvä tunti).

Power Step, Doreen
Power step includes solo training for especially boogie woogie dancers. In this lesson you are going to do a lot of basic technique training.

Isolations and Undulations, Dax and Alice
Learn to use your body first by isolations and then by more wave-like undulated movements. The lesson gives - Solo (no partner needed)

Stealing, Olivier and Natasha
Stealing in the dance means changing the partner in the middle of a dance. It is a fun way to dance in party, and sometimes there can be “steal jams”, where the partner is changed only by stealing. In the lesson, you learn some practical techniques for stealing a partner in a comfortable way that is fun for everybody.
- A partner is recommended for the lesson. You can come solo as well.

Bugg beginners, Teemu
A beginner’s lesson of bugg. Learn bugg for the first time or rehearse your basics in here!

Authentic jazz, Ulla
Authentic jazz means solo swing-choreographies, some of which are known worldwide, such as Shim Sham or Jitterbug Stroll. The lesson can also be called jazz routines. The lesson is suitable for first-timers in jazz.

Team games (juniors), Doreen and Jani
In the lesson team games are played. Expect a lot of running, some sweat and a lot of fun! The lesson is planned for juniors.

Principles of airsteps, Olivier and Natasha
In the lesson, you get basic knowledge of airsteps/aerials and you get to try some typical airsteps.

Fusku: technique variations, Tommi and Pirjo
Technique variations for dancers who can dance fusku already.
- A partner is recommended for the lesson.

Competition preparation, Teemu
What to think in a competition? How to build your competition heat as a couple? In the lesson, there is some theory but also dancing. The example used in the lesson is boogie woogie, but the concepts apply mostly to other r’n’s-dances also.
- You can follow the lesson alone, but a partner is recommended for trying the matters teached.

Argentine tango beginners, Pasi and Maria
A beginner’s lesson of Argentine tango. Learn tango for the first time or rehearse your basics in here! The beginners lesson 2 continues from the beginners lesson 1.

Ladie’s only/Gentlemen only, Melanie/Dax
Learn some techniques and styling for rock’n’swing-dances. Melanie’s lesson is only for ladies, Dax’s is only for gentlemen.

Machine Dance, Jari
Machine dance is a dance game danced with a computer with certain equipment on the floor, “tanssimatto”. The machine can be used to train your timing in other dances too. The bonbon has open doors, you can visit there for the whole hour or for a shorter time.

Mental training for competitors, Melanie
In the lesson, the mental side of competing is analysed and developed. Melanie has trained several world, European and national champions in Europe – what is required in the mental side to succeed in competitions.

The lesson is for any boogie dancer, who wants to develop their fast foot techniques.

Afro-Caribbean body movement, Erik and Consuelo

African dance, Erik and Consuelo
The class is a fun choreography class employing African dance techniques.

Solo charleston, Ulla
Charleston was danced in the 1920’s. It’s fun danced in couples or alone, and you can use elements of it in lindy hop too. You don’t need previous skills on the dance to participate in the lesson.

Blues beginners, Dax and Alice
A beginner’s lesson of blues including some solo blues and some partnered techniques. Learn blues for the first time or rehearse your basics in here!

Lead and follow – salsa perspective, Erik and Consuelo
In the lesson, lead and follow in salsa are taught, with focus on techniques rather than figures. You can grab lead&follow ideas from the lesson to other partner dances as well, and the teachers adapt the lesson for rock’n’swing-dancers. It’s recommended, that you know at least basics of salsa (for example a bonbon in this camp).
