Olivier and Natasha Harouard
www.rockswing06.com
Natasha is Russian and has been dancing since she was seven (ballroom
dancing, competing and teaching at a very high level). In 2001 she
discovered swing dancing and simply fell in love with it. She joined
innumerable swing dancing workshops in Russia and other countries, and soon
became one of the best Russian dancers and teachers.
Olivier is French and discovered his big passion for Swing in 2001. He
started competing and soon he placed in the first eight in the French
Boogie Woogie ranking list.
They met each other at the Herräng Dance Camp in Sweden in
2001 and felt in love. They studied together and started to
teach in 2003. Since their marriage they have started to build
up regular classes in Toulouse and in 2005 they moved to the
Côte d’Azur near Cannes and started to develop the Swing
culture there.
In 2006 Natasha and Olivier started to compete together and became NJC
Balboa Champions in the Amateur division for their first run in the
American Championships and 5th in NJC Lindy Hop Championship and jump in
the Pro Division.
During the same year they also joined finals in Jitterbug competitions in
Italy, Munich and in Balboa Open of BOTP in Cannes, Euro Bal’Cup of
Frenchie Balboa Festival in Toulouse and reached 3rd place in the Euro
Bal’Cup in the Rock That Swing Festival in Munich.
They compete for fun but they enjoy especially the social dancing and
exchanges around the world by sharing their passion with others.
Since 2003 their blend of two cultures has been creating an original style
of dancing and a very personal style of instruction in practically all
kinds of swing dancing: Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie, Balboa and West Coast
Swing.
They are permanent students in all styles of dancing and are
constantly trying to learn how to improve their skills and their
ways of teaching. Their creativity and musical synergies
are matched and their professionalism, kindness and humour
take them to teach in some of the biggest camps in the world
of Swing: Boogie Night (Finland), Barswingona (Spain), Moscow
Swing Dance Camp (Russia), Montpellier Swing Dance Festival
(France), Boogie Swing in Toulouse (France), Rock That Swing
(Germany), Amsterdam Lindy Hop Workshop (Nederland), Swing
Spring 2007 (Finland) but also in workshops in France,
Ukraine, Russia, Austria...
Olivier Massart and Melanie Stocker
www.bodyemotion.ch/english/dance
Melanie Stocker-Bucher has a great number of awards in boogie
woogie: five times she won Championship of Switzerland, four
times European Championship and three times World
Championship (both main class and formation). She is one
of the most famous European boogie teachers. She has
taught in many dance camps through out the world.
Among Melanie's students there are such famous dancers as
Aina Nygaard and Jurgen B. Sandnes (World Champions 2004),
Deborah Varisco and Vincenzo Fesi and many others.
Olivier Massart started dancing boogie-woogie when he was
9 years old at Melanie and Reto’s workshops. He has won several
national Championships of Belgium, and won the world
championship among junior boogie woogie dancers. Now he has
started dancing lindy hop and west coast swing, and won
awards in US competitions.
It was Melanie Stocker (Switzerland) who Olivier took his
first classes from at an international workshop, at the age of 12.
And it is with Melanie that he started to give his first classes
abroad! And now, Olivier and Melanie teach all over Europe. It is
obviously their first love of boogie woogie that started them
working together. With a shared passion for dance and similar
objectives, Olivier and Melanie have found they have a lot in
common and will carry on sharing many beautiful things together.
Astonishing couple, teachers, dancers and performers to their
core, they will capture and seduce you!

Doreen Weisser (partnered with Jani Antola)
Andrey Prokopenko has hurt his knee, and therefore he and Jenya Salahutdinova won't be able to teach in Boogie Night this year.
Due to cancellation we have turned to Boogie Woogie European Champion Doreen Weisser from Germany. During most of the classes she will partnered with
Jani Antola from Finland.
Doreen came across to find the Boogie Woogie by accident. Due to a flu she was alone in the Rock'n'Roll class and learned her
first steps in Boogie Woogie. Right away she was amazed by the freedom of styles and music interpretation in Boogie Woogie.
In her dance Doreen expresses the spirit of Boogie Woogie: to live the Boogie Woogie with all its fun and joy. She shows her joy
in dancing no matter if social or in the competition.
Doreen is the most successfull German Boogie Woogie dancer during the past few years. She's active both competing and teacing in Europe.
Her dancing is pure and fresh Boogie Woogie. As a dancer she's cheerful and very out going. On the other hand, she's very precise and punctual.
As a teacher Doreen is uplifting and she brings the front line knowledge of Boogie Woogie to Boogie Night dance camp.
Jouko Turkka
http://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jouko_Turkka
Jouko Turkka (s. 1942) on suomalainen teatteriohjaaja ja kirjailija.
Turkka toimi Teatterikorkeakoulussa teatterityön professorina 1981–1985, rehtorina 1982–1985 sekä
ohjaajantyön professorina 1985–1988. Opetuksessaan Turkka korosti voimakkaan fyysisen ilmaisun merkitystä.
Lisäksi Turkka on esiintynyt
entisen oppilaansa Jari Halosen elokuvissa Back to the USSR - Takaisin Ryssiin (1992) sekä Aleksis Kiven elämä (2001).
Turkan romaani Häpeä oli Finlandia-palkintoehdokkaana 1994. Hänen esseistisiä kirjojaan ovat Aiheita ja
Selvitys oikeuskanslerille.

Tuntikuvaus - - To-pe 27. - 28.12.2007 (jakso 1)
-- Kuinka kaikille ekstaattisuutta!
Turkka opettaa 27.12. sekä 28.12. kumpanakin päivänä kaksi tuntia. Voit
ottaa joko toisen tai molemmat näistä kahden tunnin kokonaisuuksista. Tunneilla on eri sisältö keskenään.
