What’s the workshop venue?

The Tampere workshops will be held at Swing Team’s new clubhouse located in Hakametsä about 3 km from the Tampere city center.

The premises include three dance studios, a spacious lobby with a kitchen-cafe corner, dressing rooms, restrooms, a conference room and storerooms.

The premises are currently being renovated and should be fully in use by the end of January. Details on showers, lockers, and floor level accommodation possibilities are unfortunately not yet known at this point.

How to get there?

By car: Eniro map, Google maps

There is a lot of parking space just in front of the clubhouse.

By bus: Reittiopas for timetables

Buses 17, 25 and 27 to/from the city center stop right in front of the clubhouse.

Where to eat?

There is a fully equipped kitchen available at the clubhouse, but the ongoing renovation work might or might not complicate things...

There are some pizza/kebab places, cafes and a McDonald’s as well as supermarkets within walking distance (less than 1 km) from the clubhouse.

Where to sleep?

If you need affordable accommodation in Tampere, we recommend Omenahotelli or Hostel Sofia.

For dancers arriving from far, floor accommodation at the clubhouse or in local dancers’ homes might also be possible.
