New Year's Shakedown

Just before Late Night Jump on Wednesday 31st Dec New Year's Shakedown will lead us to the brand new year of 2009. Awesome party will be set up in the nearby restaurant Sala da Pranzo located just next to the camp venue. The party includes the 10 year anniversary of the Boogie Night Dance Camp, and most of all, good food, live music and dancing. The band for the evening is Masa Orpana Quartet.

Masa Orpana is known from a wide variety of swing, jazz and rhythm'n'blues, bands - Groovy Eyes, Honky Tonk Men and Olmarin Unioni to name a few. For New Year's Shakedown Masa has gathered together Masa Orpana Quartet to play and swing hard just for us, the dancers. Music style is mostly swing. Olmarin Unioni played in Swing Team Christmas party in 2007, and now we will have a comeback. Be ready for some really groovy swing music!

Ticket prices/Lippujen hinnat:
- Party only/Bilelippu: 8 euros with pre-reservations, 10 euros from the door
- Party and dinner/Bilelippu ja illallinen: 20 euros (dinner not available without pre-reservation)

You cannot reserve the tickets anymore, but you can buy one (party only) from the door with 10 euros.

Shakedown in Facebook
The event has sold well (not many people seem to use Facebook, though!), so far 70 people are participating including our international teachers who are at the camp at that point. Nejc, William and the others are well-known party pumpers, and the place is not big, so we will have an intensive night - be ready to party hard!
