THE annual lindy hop event in Finland is here again. SWING SPRING 2006 dance camp will be arranged this year in Tampere - unrivalled for its activity in the Finnish rock’n’swing-dance scene. The venue, Hervanta Leisure Centre, offers great facilities for training, dancing and pleasant staying at the camp.

Get your kicks from... high level training

At Swing Spring 2006 we proudly to present an excellent group of international instructors. The instructors include Peter Strom and Gaitlin George, USA, Aleksey Volkov and Katya Avlasevich, Russia, and Mike Faltesek, USA, among others. Training will be offered for everyone interested in lindy hop - from the very beginners to advanced levels. The training levels are formed by auditions, and thus, within each training level you’re to meet peers matching your own dancing skills. Bonbon-classes on other rock’n’swing dances than just lindy hop are provided. You can freely choose among the various Bonbon-tasters.

In addition to the top-notch training the camp offers you three great evenings full of swing. The highlight will take place on Friday evening 26th May when Nokia Big Band with its nearly 20 bandsmen plays the bests of swing - LIVE at the camp site!
